Olive Branch - BETTY HOOD, 73, retired certified registered nurse anesthetist for the Methodist Hospital system, died Friday, June 29, 2007 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. Mrs. Hood was born February 1, 1934 in Birmingham, AL to the late Willie and Nettie Donaldson and was a Methodist. A memorial service will be held Monday, July 2 at 10 a.m. at Bartlett United Methodist Church, 5676 Stage Road. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Jim Hood of Olive Branch, MS; one son, Richard Hood of Franklin, TN; two daughters, Vicky Watson of Bartlett, TN and Becky Hill of Knoxville, TN; three brothers, Buck Donaldson of Birmingham, AL, Clifford Donaldson of Carmichaels, PA, and Joe Donaldson of Gulf Shores, AL; and six grandchildren, Grace Cunningham, Katie Hill, Kelsey Watson, Sarah Watson, Jack Hood, and James Hood.
